If at first you don’t succeed… #nlpoli

Shoot your self in the foot yet again.

The Conservative candidate in Cartwright – L’anse au Claire is committed to proving his party runs the government to suit its own partisan interests not what’s in the best interests of all the people of the province.

And this is not the first time Dennis Normore has told the people of the district that his party is deliberately punishing them for voting for someone other than the Conservative candidate.
Back in 2007, Normore told reporters that:
“People realize that we have to be on the government side in the next four years. Otherwise, we're going to pay dearly for it…”
Vote Conservative or pay for it dearly. Normore capped it off by saying that if the district went for the opposition, then Cartwright - L’Anse au Claire would be the “sacrificial district.”

Now in 2007, the Conservative brain trust crapped bricks and ordered Normore to retract his comments.

He did, and apologized the next day.

But Normore quickly returned to his original message track.

Normore lost in 2007 and again in 2011.    [Note:  An alert and knowledgeable reader noted that Normore ran in 2003 and 2007 and lost both times.  He's now going again in 2011.  SRBP regrets the errors]

Dennis Normore is carrying the Conservative banner again in 2013 and he is carrying exactly the same message as before (via CBC):
“I believe after ten years of being in opposition, Cartwright-L'Anse au Clair needs to come on board with this government,”…
At least Normore is consistently stunned-arsed.
